I believe in the small steps that make the big things happen. With every effort to take care of your health you can achieve better quality of life and greater happiness. Massage therapy and physical fitness play a big part in that.
For 13 years I worked on staff as one of the massage therapists at the National Ballet of Canada. I also worked with members the National Sailing Team through two Olympic Campaigns and followed them to their world championships in Spain. Massage therapy was a tool that helped these athletes and dancers reach for their dreams.
I use techniques like Myofascial Release, Soft Tissue Release, Joint Play, and Trigger Point Therapy to see results in my clients. I also offer remedial exercises and stretching.
Today I provide massage therapy for a wide range of people, from clients in nursing homes dealing with mobility issues, to cancer patients, to pregnant women to triathletes, and pre and post race cyclists and swimmers, to young children with growing pains.
My life is pain free and full of physical activity. I love doing triathlons. I competed in the 2014 FINA world masters swimming championships. In 2015, after a mastectomy, chemo and radiation I became a cancer survivor. But my main challenge is to keep up with my seven year old.
It is my hope to help you feel better faster and experience life to the fullest.
